{"id":315,"date":"2010-10-17T09:43:39","date_gmt":"2010-10-17T13:43:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/futureinnovate.net\/?p=315"},"modified":"2011-11-03T18:26:22","modified_gmt":"2011-11-03T22:26:22","slug":"development-update-october-17-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/futureinnovate.net\/main\/?p=315","title":{"rendered":"Development Update, October 17, 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recent functionality and interface updates include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Implemented a new &#8220;multimenu_text&#8221; data format in the Inform module that facilitates gathering multiple data elements in response to a single question, using a format similar to the following:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_317\" style=\"width: 421px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-317\" class=\"size-full wp-image-317\" title=\"multimenu_text\" src=\"http:\/\/futureinnovate.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/multimenu_text.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"411\" height=\"243\" srcset=\"https:\/\/futureinnovate.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/multimenu_text.png 411w, https:\/\/futureinnovate.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/multimenu_text-300x177.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 411px) 100vw, 411px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-317\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Multimenu_text data input format<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u2022 Upgraded the Statistics menu available to Admin users to optionally display tables providing a listing of total daily registrations, submissions, and review completions. \u00a0This enables a more precise indication of relevant trends.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Added the ability to configure a &#8220;maximum&#8221; and\/or &#8220;minimim&#8221; value for numeric and currency fields. \u00a0Users that provide a number that lies outside the range will be notified of that fact via a popup alert.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Further enhanced the existing capability of the system to support &#8220;conditionality&#8221; based on segmentation criteria. \u00a0This features enables various questions \/ data inputs to be flagged as &#8220;conditional&#8221;, to be displayed only to proposals matching a specified segmentation criterion. \u00a0This functionality is useful in situations where it is desireable to customize the data inputs, or the wording of questions, based on whether a proposal fits into a specific category.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Continued the process of migrating online instructions to a WordPress platform, which enables Admin users to directly edit and maintain online instructions provided to users and reviewers.
